Julie Goodwin Weber is a top-rated Super Lawyer with two decades of experience guiding clients through estate planning, trust and estate administration, and probate matters. Known for her compassionate and thoughtful approach, Julie helps individuals, couples, and families protect their legacies and plan for the future—often incorporating tax-saving strategies along the way.

Julie works with a diverse range of clients, from young parents establishing guardianships and trusts for their children to retirees planning to transfer wealth to the next generation. Her clients include single individuals, same-sex and opposite-sex couples, and both modest and high-net-worth individuals. Whether crafting a simple will or developing complex charitable giving strategies, Julie tailors each plan to meet her clients’ unique goals.

As a fellow animal lover, Julie also enjoys assisting clients in planning for the care of their pets through wills or dedicated pet trusts.

Julie has extensive experience administering estates and trusts across Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and New York. She regularly represents estates, prepares and files necessary court documents, handles estate tax returns, and advises on post-mortem tax strategies. She has also represented interested persons, executors, and trustees in estate and trust litigation.

Julie primarily practices out of our Gaithersburg and West Ocean City, Maryland offices and handles Virginia matters from our Chincoteague Island office. She especially values serving clients on the Eastern Shore, where access to estate and trust expertise is more limited.
